Words of Wisdom

The times we are living in can seem uncertain and chaotic. It can feel like everything is going wrong and nothing is going according to your plans or how you thought it would. Some things and people that you used to rely on or thought you could rely on may have faltered and failed. Your savings may be going down while your bills are going up. Sometimes it may seem that your "to-do" list is getting longer while your time and energy are getting shorter and smaller. Despite what it seems like and the things that are happening that appear to be contrary to your good, God is using them. He may not have caused them, but He will use them. God is cleansing, correcting, conforming, and convicting you, not to condemn you, but to convert you. God is requiring greater humility from you because greater honor is coming upon you. He is making you into a new, sharp threshing instrument with teeth. (Isaiah 41:15)
