Apostle Tami Christian founded New Beginnings Ministry in 2016 in Irvington, New Jersey. She was licensed as a minister in 2012 under the leadership of her late husband, Dr. Ronald B. Christian. She was then ordained in the year 2015.
Under her late husband’s leadership, she established a satellite location of the church where he served as the senior pastor. She taught Bible studies and other classes, preached, served in whatever capacity she was called upon, and supported her husband.
Apostle Christian worked in social services for many years at a community-based organization that serviced HIV-positive individuals and their families. She was the Vice President of Operations. Her responsibilities included, but were not limited to, grant writing, serving as liaison between the agency and government officials, and managing and overseeing various aspects of the agency’s daily operation.
Apostle Tami Christian’s mission is to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ—to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Her passion and joy are caring for her family, preaching and teaching the gospel, and worshiping God. She has raised three children and has one granddaughter.
“What things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ” (Philippians 3:7–8 KJV).
